What is a Conference Call?
Note: The national
average conference call rate
is 25¢ per minute per
person. Many conference call
plans also charge a set-up
fee and a monthly fee. AccuConference has no set-up
fee and no monthly fee. You
are only charged for the
conference calls you make.
There is no contract and
you can cancel your account
at any time without penalty.
* Your rate automatically
drops to 5.9¢ per minute
when you reach a total of
5000 minutes in a one month
period.
Using the AccuConference Service
To use the service, notify
your guests of the conference
call details. The easiest
way to do this is via e-mail.
(If you use Outlook for your
email, you can download the
AccuConference
Outlook Plugin to help automate the process
of sending conference invitations
to your participants.) Send
your guests the time of the
conference call (be sure
to include the time zone),
the toll-free phone number
to access the conference
call and the participant
PIN code.
How it Works - When you
enroll with AccuConference
you will receive two PIN
codes - a Moderator Code
and a Participant Code.
Each participant will call
the toll free number at the
prescribed time. A voice
prompt will advise them to
enter their PIN code and
they will be asked to speak
their name. If the moderator
has not yet joined the conference
call, the participant will
be placed on hold until the
moderator arrives. If the
moderator is present, they
will be immediately joined
to the conference call.
AccuConference
Web Interface
AccuConference includes
the use of a free web interface
for managing your conference
calls. The moderator can
log into the account management
page to access the web interface.
From this interface the moderator
can control many aspects
of the conference call, but
it is not required that you
use the web interface. The
web interface is not compatiple
with the Macintosh operating
system. Although it works
best with a high speed connection
to the Internet, it will
also work with a dial-up
connection.
AccuConference
Free Web Conferencing
AccuConference now offers
free web conferencing. Moderators
will have PowerPoint application
sharing, desktop sharing,
remote control sharing, webtour,
white boarding, and instant
chat options available via
the Internet.

International Callers
Your international participants
can join your AccuConference
conference call in one of
two ways.
They
may call the long distance
toll number in Atlanta,
GA to join the call at
their own expense (you
will still be charged 7.9¢ per
minute)
You can out-dial to
them to bring them into
the conference call.
If you plan to use the
international out-dial
feature, you must have
this feature activated
by faxing in the Out-Dial
Agreement form after
your account is activated.
